Volunteering for WWAC offers personal fulfillment, a sense of purpose, skill development, networking opportunities, and the chance to make a positive impact in your community!

The time commitment varies based on how much you'd like to do.   It can range from a few hours per month  to several days per year.  You can discuss your availability and preferences with us and we'll do our best to accomodate you!

Absolutely!  We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to provide online befriending via zoom, or you could get  involved in tasks such as online fundraising,  content creation, research, or administrative support.  Also we'd love to hear from makes and crafters who would be willing to make items we can sell at our events in order to raise funds!

Volunteer work at WWAC can involve a wide range of activities, including assisting with events, fundraising, administrative tasks, delivering care packages, befriending online, via telephone or in-person.  We are also always looking for crafters/makers who can provide items we can sell at our events!

But you get to decide what you would like to do!

WWAC will provide training &  orientation to familiarise volunteers with their roles, organisation, and specific tasks. This ensures that volunteers have the necessary knowledge and guidance to carry out their responsibilities effectively.

As advocates of inclusivity, WWAC prioritise ensuring that volunteering remains accessible to all.  Therefore, our volunteer opportunities are free of charge, and we also offer coverage for travel and other expenses.
