In 2013 at the age of 43 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.   Everything happened so quickly with scans and then surgery, right side mastectomy & total lymph node clearance then months of treatment.

It was during this time I realised if I wanted information and answers I had to ask lots of questions and study google to get the answers, as there wasn’t a lot of help or support locally.

I have always been open and talked about my cancer journey to help others not feel so alone. So it was great when I met up with a group of others that felt the same as I did.

Together we are helping support families that are going through tough times. Together we are stronger.
