Nicola is  a volunteer and founding member of WWAC. In 2017 at the age of 38 Nicola was diagnosed with stage 3 Breast cancer. Nicola has since reduced her working hours with Stena Line, where she has been an employee for 24 years, to continue with her voluntary services with WWAC. Whilst on her own cancer journey, Nicola came to realise that there was a serious lack of support and amenities within the local area, the kind of support and amenities that are required to help sufferers and their families take on the challenges which Cancer presents. It was this that prompted Nicola to set about raising funds and awareness within our local area.
