My name is Sheila Jackson and I am a committee member with WWAC.  I was diagnosed in February 2012 with Stage 1 breast cancer which had spread to my lymph nodes and liver. After numerous operations and treatments, I decided not to return to work. I am involved in a few voluntary organisations including WWAC. The group has inspired me to want to help people who have either gone through or are going through cancer and I will strive to do that, however big or small, through my own experience. Cancer is a very scary journey to embark on and hopefully WWAC can help and support people in our wee corner of the world on that journey.
